Summer in London

If you're like me, then this dreadful summer weather has you itching for a holiday. You need sun, sand, and water that you and the kiddies can enjoy. Luckily, there's no need to travel far.

The O2 has transported 1,000 tons of sand to create The Beach: Island Life. Throughout the day the beach will act as a kids paradise with entertainers helping children play creatively, whether by building sand castles, dressing up or telling stories. There's even an illuminated sun and palm trees to help you feel like you're really on holiday. And best of all, The Beach is absolutely free. (notice: in the evening it transforms into an urban retreat for adults only, so go early!)

The Beach
runs everyday until August 27th
opens at 10am
nearest tube station: North Greenwich, Jubilee line.
