Autumn in London

There's something about London and Autumn that make a perfect fit (think Hyde Park, glittered with red and orange leaves). But more than just aesthetics, the bulk of tourists have headed home and autumn events just seem specifically geared toward the Londoner.

So without further ado, here are a few events this week that caught my eye:

1. Do you love your home? Do you love pretty things? Of course! Then head to the Focus Interior Design and Decoration Exhibition in Chelsea (part of the ever-brilliant Design Festival). Over 120 prestigious interior brands will showcase their collections for the first time. A personal favourite among brands: Designers Guild. The exhibition is open for free to the public on one day only - Wednesday, Sept 26th (otherwise it's trade professionals only).

2. I'm kicking myself because Life of Pi author, Yann Martel, is in town to discuss his book and I haven't read it yet! Martel will be at the Southbank Centre tomorrow night (Sept 25, Tuesday). Tickets are £10 and the event starts at 7.45pm. (click above for more info).

3. If cooking is your thing, you may want to check out An Evening With Tana Ramsay (wife of Gordon Ramsay) at the department store, Peter Jones, tomorrow night (Sept 25th), 7pm. Tana will be celebrating the release of her book, Tana Ramsay's Real Family Food. Tickets are £5 and can be redeemed towards a copy of the book. Book your ticket here.
