National Gallery - Youth Music Week

The National Gallery is hosting some exceptional activities for kids today. If you're free this afternoon then make your way to the Gallery for what's sure to be a kid-loving. culture-infused event.
  • Under 5's - Melody Monkey and friends are creating an unforgettable experience, allowing under-5s and their parents to engage with both music and art. Ruben's 'A View of Het Steen in the Early Morning' will be a key painting in this session. Sessions: 12:30 - 1:30pm; 2:30-3:30. Free. Meet in room 29.
  • 6-18-year-olds - Improvise That! The Jazz Summer School Workshop is offering an interactive free-style jazz workshop. The session will involve creative improvisation and music making inspired by Giordano's 'Perseus turning Phineas and his Followers to Stone'. Sessions: 12:30-1:30pm; 2:30-3:30pm. Free. Meet in room 32.
