National History Museum
One of my two-year-old's favourite activities is visiting the life-sized animals at the National History Museum. It's like we're on a scavenger hunt as she gasps in excitement, naming and imitating each animal's signature noise.
We both love the main mammal room, where your greeted by life-size elephants, giraffes, hippos and zebras. You can even pick up a telephone and listen to elephant noises in this room. Best of all, my daughter actually thinks she's having a conversation with the elephants at this point. Like their arranging a playdate. It's adorable.
The Natural History Museum is free, though special exhibits require a fee, like the Wildlife Photographer of the Year. We can't wait to visit this one come Oct 31.
