Le Pain Quotidien

Whenever I have some "me time", I'm overwhelmed with all the various options and things to do in London!

When I had a free morning last week, I found myself considering a visit to the National Gallery... then thought about viewing the JW Waterhouse exhibtion at the Royal Academy of Arts...(I could also pick up some macarons that way...)

I ended up taking a book to Le Pain Quotidien and had lunch with myself (and Oscar Wilde, courtesy of the book I was reading). It was so relaxing, and the food (as always) was delicious. It was so nice not feel rushed, make conversation, or fit in a bazillion errands.

Do you have a favourite activity? Something you like to do when you're out sans kids?
