Mallorca {Part 1}

This time last week I was relaxing poolside with my husband at the Son Julia Hotel in Mallorca. Located 15 minutes east of Palma, the hotel is a gorgeously restored 15th-century estate. With just 25 rooms, it was quiet and relaxing even whilst being fully booked. The hotel has two outdoor pools (one with cabanas + a poolside restaurant), tennis and paddle courts, a spa and a delicious restaurant.

My husband and I truly enjoyed our break from real life. An amazing six days, sans kids, with lots of sun, good food, exploring and of course,... relaxing. It was all we wanted from our holiday... plus more! We both came back refreshed with a new lease on life, but we're still dreaming about when we can go back.

The local beach Es Trenc was just a 15 minute drive from the hotel. Gorgeous, low-key beach. Many locals, not so many tourists... just the way we like it. If you're going with young children, a perfect beach with kids. Very shallow with both a lifeguard and restaurants on-site.

{Tomorrow I will post about the towns we visited... stunning!}
