London Transport Museum

Yesterday we visited the London Transport Museum in Covent Garden. It's been on my 'list' ever since I posted about the museum's vintage posters. (I couldn't resist picking up some fun prints while there).

The success of our visit was evidenced in last night's phone call to grandma. My oldest mentioned several times how 'cool' the museum was and that they even got to drive a bus (!) .

It really is a museum for all ages--so hand's on and interactive. My kids (ages 4 and 2) loved jumping in and out of the dated buses and trains, and especially enjoyed spotting the old-fashioned wax people in the Victorian buggies. As for me, a favourite included the collection of vintage tickets and maps.

Adult admission is £13.50 and is valid for an entire year. Kids go free.
