It's only mid-November, but I'm already thinking about the holidays. Making a short-list of gift ideas for my children, and thinking about the various festivities I'd like to do with my family before the season passes (it always zooms by!).
We celebrate Christmas in our home, and decided a few years ago to limit our gift-giving to three gifts per child. It's worked well for us, forcing us to think more about what we buy them, and looking at the quality and longevity of the items. It's also simplifies the day and even better, simplifies my shopping list.
Do you have a holiday gift-giving policy at your home? I always love to hear new ideas.
