V&A Museum of Childhood
A few weeks ago my son and I visited the Victoria & Albert Museum of Childhood. What a brilliant museum! It was our first visit and aside from losing my son for about five minutes (thank goodness I had a friend there to help find him!), we thought it was so fun - lots of treasured toys from the past (many behind glass cases!), as well as plenty of interactive, hands-on toys and activities to keep the kids entertained.
Our little ones loved playing with sandbox, the puppet theatre and the rocking horse! The museum is short walk from the Bethnal Green tube station, and they host several activities for kids through the week (including half-term). We arrived right as the museum opened (10am) and it was very quiet for the first hour, then quickly filled up with lots of school children!
Also, the museum shop at the V&A Museum of Childhood now ranks among my favourites.

I took a friend there with her kiddo (me not at that time yet) and loved it as well... and I agree on the shop... :)
Aw, man, I never did make it there. So it was cool, huh?
Thanks for reminding me about this place. Just trying to work out where to take kids this week. They are slowly but surely bored of looking at my face!

Thank you for your kind comments. I would be more than happy to be interviewed. X
Oh I love this place. Planned to go therre this half term but was so busy. Their shop is fab, Ezra picked up some super cool butterfly wings there.
Meanwhile I've just fallen in love with Museum of London, will write about it soon x
