Tomorrow is Shrove Tuesday... otherwise known as Pancake Day. So yes, that's an excuse to eat all the pancakes you want. Stuff them with chocolate, fruit, or whatever else you like. It is a holiday, after all!
Per usual, there are several celebratory events happening around London. Traditional pancake races such as The Great Spitalfields Pancake Race or The Parliamentary Pancake Race are two events that promise to entertain. More pancake races can be found here.
Or perhaps you might settle for complimentary pancakes from The Warrington (a Gordon Ramsey pub) in Maida Vale? Chef Chris Arkadieff and his team will hand out pancakes from 2.45pm-4pm. (Thanks to Maida Vale Mums for the heads up about this event.)
