Last half-term, we were invited to a Fairy Family Fun Day at Hampton Court. I figured since my kids were off school that it would be a brilliant way to spend the day.
The kids were in heaven! Fairy organised games, balloon-modeling, face-painting and competitions. Then we ate lunch, the kids enjoyed a medal ceremony, and finally it was off to explore Hampton Court.
Hampton Court is a historic site that appeals to both the parent and the child. Younger ones can spy what former royals used to eat in King Henry's kitchen, parents can admire The Chapel Royal, and both can enjoy the giant maze in the garden. There are lots of summer activities here.
