I'm so intrigued by these glamping-style surfpods in Cornwall. In fact, if they weren't already booked for the summer, I'd be tempted to make an impromptu visit.
Camping pods are gaining in popularity these days, with sites stretching from Cornwall to Scotland. Not basic tent camping, but not your posh cabin either--pods seems to blend the likeable qualities of being low-maintenance and affordable, whilst still being a touch rugged and adventurous too.
Here's a map, marking the whereabouts of camping pods in the UK.
Have you stayed in a camping pod before? Would you recommend? It looks like so much fun.
