Several times while I've been out with my kids, I've realized that my very own rucksack would actually prove so much more useful than the purse I'm carrying around (confirmed by the fact that I wore my son's dinosaur rucksack throughout the zoo yesterday). So while I'd love one of these beautiful handbags, realistically, this Muji rucksack or duffle (spotted in Selfridges) would be much more practical for "days out" with my kids.

They both look pretty, and definitely more practical. I wish rugsacks would become more fashionable again. It would make life easier ;)
I actually use a black nylon backpack that I use everyday rather than a purse. It is so much easier and I can stuff a lot more stuff in it, I try not to care that it looks like I am high schooler?
