Easter 2012

Growing up,  the most exciting activity of the Easter season was a giant egg hunt at my grandma and grandpa's house. My grandparents filled 100+ plastic eggs with little chocolates and real coins and 10+ grandchildren would run about the garden seeking out all the fluorescent eggs. (I think the most we ever made individually was about $10, but it was so exciting as a child!). We also woke up to Easter baskets filled with chocolates and a few other fun items.

This year, I ordered flourescent eggs for our own Easter egg hunt, and I'm hoping to pick up some cute chocolate treats tomorrow as well.

Do you celebrate the holiday? What are some favourite traditions? If you're looking for something fun this weekend, here are some London activities.

(I spotted these Donna Wilson hand-painted chocolate eggs at Rococo a few weeks ago.  So sweet!)
