Dishoom, a Bombay Café in London (Leicester Square, to be specific). Visited earlier this week and loved the rare Central London mix of ambience, affordability and taste.
Keep it in your arsenal of 'places to eat' when you're out sight-seeing with visiting friends and family. Or like me, if you just want to meet up with friends in the city. (It's casually cool, and the booths in the basement are perfect for meet-ups.)
(p.s. do you cringe every time you see an Angus Steak House in tourist-ravaged areas of London? Me too! Less Angus Steak House. More Dishoom!)
