Cookbooks

Many of my favourite recipes come from family and friends or the internet, and yet I still love collecting cookbooks. It feels so indulgent flipping through a new cookbook, especially one where mouth-watering recipes are illustrated with beautiful photos and story-telling commentary.

Here a few cookbooks on my wish-list. I would be happy to see any of them under the tree this Christmas! Do you have any favourite cookbooks? Please share!

Smitten Kitchen. I've made a few recipes from her blog that I love, so I think the book would be a good bet. The UK version is only available for pre-order, but you can source the USA version through independent book sellers.

Ottolenghi. Need I say more?

Foolproof. I'm usually happy with Ina Garten's recipes from the Food Network, so I think I'd love her cookbook too.

I'm a big fan of Nigel Slater, love his Tender vol.1 cookbook and like the idea of The Kitchen Diaries. I have 'Hugh's Three Good Things' by Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall on my wishlist.
