I can't believe I haven't written about The Wolseley yet! This grand cafe-restaurant captured my heart almost a decade ago, when I used to travel from America to London to visit my then-boyfriend (now husband). Definitely not a typical dating scenario...
I still remember the first time my husband took me to The Wolseley. The grand arches, high ceilings, and black and white decor were (and still are) so impressively gorgeous! And even better, the food was delicious and the staff were so nice and accommodating.
Over the years, as friends and family have come to visit, I've taken them to The Wolseley. I admit, I partly take them so they can gasp at the beautiful interior, but we always enjoy the food too. It's especially good for breakfast or afternoon tea. Since it's so centrally located, it's also an ideal spot to break from sight-seeing. Make a reservation though—it gets busy!
