Benihana is a Japanese-inspired restaurant that's perfected the art of serving food and entertaining guests at the same time. Juggling knives, blowing fire, throwing and catching food in all sorts of imaginative ways? I think it just might be the most entertaining family dining experience.
I recently visited Benihana in Chelsea for a London blogger's night out. While chatting with some inspiring and wonderful bloggers, we were simultaneously entertained by our friendly and talented chef. And while this enjoyable night was an adults-only affair, we all kept thinking about how much our children would love the private cooking show experience!
I've included a couple videos that show some of their cooking tricks. :)
Benihana is located on King's Road, next to Marks and Spencers. Despite being in the basement, it's a large, open, and elegant room. There are dedicated areas for private dining and birthday parties, and of course, there is a children's menu too. Special thanks to Laura of London-Baby for organising this fun and inspiring event! (p.s. London-Baby has the run down on who attended and their blogs here.)
Benihana Chelsea treated us to this complimentary evening, but views are all my own.
